A systematic and quantitative evaluation of cryo-EM maps is necessary to judge their quality and to capture all possible sources of error. The 3D FSC provides a quantitative assessment for how the resolution of a reconstructed cryo-EM map varies with viewing direction (anisotropy). We provide a web server to recover 3D FSC volumes describing anisotropy for cryo-EM reconstructions.
